Come learn why we're an accounting firm like no other.
At Pinion, we value the opinions, ideas, and skill sets of every employee. Here, there’s no “biding your time” or “waiting your turn” to make an impact. We want you to learn by doing. Don’t be surprised if you find yourself pitching ideas to clients, helping make critical decisions and contributing from the jump. If that scares you, it’s ok. If it doesn’t? Even better.
Internships (Spring, Summer, and Fall)
Pinion interns are a diverse group of talented students, beginning their journey of discovery in a multi-service consulting firm. If selected, you will gain broad business exposure in a challenging environment where the primary rewards are the opportunity to learn and apply your education to real-life situations. This is a paid position, and those selected will have the chance to have impact right away, as they work with associates, senior associates, managers, principals and clients. Interns gain real-world public accounting experience while assisting with projects like financial statement preparation, auditing, general accounting and write-up work, as well as special projects. Depending on the time of year, you may also help with preparation of federal and state tax returns for individuals and businesses.
Pinion’s accounting associate role creates the opportunity to launch your career in public accounting and experience a totally different way of providing tax and audit services to clients. Because we're an honest-to-goodness business advisory firm, our tax and audit professionals are change agents equipped to go beyond compliance work and serve as a key strategic role in our clients' development and success. They partner directly with progressive business owners and key decision makers, to grow both their companies and our firm. Pinion will actively promote our associates’ pursuit of their passions and "distinct abilities" as they serve in a strategic and advisory role for our customers.
The hiring process can seem daunting… but it doesn’t have to be. Follow the roadmap below as we guide you in a smooth (and nearly stress-free) transition from applicant to valued Pinion team member.
Take the leap! In less than 4 minutes, submit a resume and transcript that our hiring team can review to learn about you. Did we mention it takes less than 4 minutes?
Talk about first impressions. Your first interview is virtual and will be an introduction to learn about your passion for the profession, significant accomplishments, and readiness to contribute to a team. Don’t worry, we’re prepared to answer your questions too.
Whether virtual or in-office, in your second interview you can continue learning about Pinion and dive deep into your potential for growth within the firm. We invite you to ask the fun questions specific to the office you are applying for or the things you remain curious about.
Time to celebrate! From start to finish, our goal is that in less than two weeks you’ll have a better understanding of what Pinion is all about. If selected, you’ll come out with a job offer in hand (well, in your inbox). Connect with our Campus Recruiter to fully understand your offer and celebrate this win.
“My internship at Pinion was an extremely rewarding experience. I learned invaluable skills from mentors who truly cared about sharing their knowledge. The collaborative atmosphere encouraged creativity and taught me about the industry in a hands-on way. I am very grateful for the experience and the lasting connections I made. I would highly recommend Pinion to anyone seeking a fulfilling internship experience!”

Where You Fit In
Because traditional CPA services are only a fraction of the in-depth consulting we provide to our clients, we’re looking for individuals who love people first and numbers almost as much. Your technical skills must be great, and you should also enjoy helping individuals and companies find solutions to their problems.
